Good fight. I would back Johnson who I think would frustrate Fury.

Johnson had a very slick defence and a good jab so it would be very interesting to see if Fury could effectivley land with combinations. I think given Fury's relative lack of power Johnson could have quite a few countering opportunities and I dont think he will be as gunshy as he was in his a title fight.

Kingpin is far too classy for Fury...

As frustrating as his performance was against Vitali, his defence was impressive, ring entrance even better(man in the mirror). I strongly believe he can get back in the mix, given that 'the mix' is a pile of ****.

    Johnson would probably win this.

The guy has a world class defence, but his offence is not very good, still more than enough for fury at this stage.

It will be interesting to see what fury could do if he came in at 250lbs in good shape

johnson's jab alone would squash fury at this moment in time, he did very little against vitali yet vitali came out of that fight looking all bashed up.

will be good to see fury's excuse for dodging this one.

Thing is, why does Johnson want to fight Fury?

Is he going to fight bums and mismatched prospects until he gets a title shot again?

this is why heavyweight boxing sucks, the contenders never fight each other.

    Johnson, fight Areolla, chambers, povetkin.

EARN your title shot, don't just get one by default.

i don't reckon furys stupid enough to fight johnson in an undercard bout, plus 13 fights against a man who's 1 loss is to a klitchko on points, plus a draw with timo abrigimov, in twice as many fights, though you dont know with fury, if he can't get a fight with the other unwilling heavys in uk, maybe he will fight him, /?

People only see Johnson for that display against Vitali. He's not a great fighter but he would be a bit to much for Tyson at this point. Johnson is a bully and only fights back when he knows he can hit someone and hurt them and he senses he could beat Tyson and earn a few quid doing it and like Monte Barrett who beat Tye Fields he try put himself back up there for a payday against other heavyweights.

His display against Vitali was a disgrace. He would be hard to hit for Fury who in his last fight was still establishing balance and working on discipline for every second/minute/round by working off a solid jab and straight shots and good foot placements when throwing his punches. I think that's a fight down the line for Tyson but for now he's developing in ring discipline as well as out of ring discipline (i hope..). I wouldn't moan at a similar type opponent but less threatening. I'm normally all for pushing our prospects on but Tyson's a work in progress.
