Laz, don't get your hopes up yet.

TK want Mccloskey over Murray. Why I don't know, but thats how it is.

Over the next 24/48 hours the balls in Mccloskey's court. He takes their offer and the fight is his. He rejects and it goes to Murray.

Now that Murray has released this.. I imagine Mccloskey will take their offer. I really do hope Murray gets it though

That's what I was thinking. This will almost certainly make McCloskey go for the hook.

I think the reason why Khan prefers Mccloskey is because he will be training with Pacquiao for 3 weeks in Phillipines. Mccloskey is a southpaw therefore Khan and Pacquiao can spar with each other.

I just read an article on max boxing. Khan will begin his training in LA on February 14th. March 7th he will go Phillipines with Roach and Pacquiao. He will then fly out to England April 2nd to get climatised and Roach will join Khan in the UK on April 11th.

I can see the logic, but I'd personally have thought Khan would be thinking $$$$. Khan Vs Murray could be massive depending on the promotion, far greater than a Mccloskey bout. Then again, perhaps they consider Murray a bigger risk.. who knows

Just a thought though.. what a great opportunity for whoever gets it.. Victory over Khan could very possibly propel them straight into the winner of Bradley/Alex on saturday night.... From contender to unified champion in 2 bouts.. would be a great 6 months!

Cheers for that. I was looking for an answer to this.

Box, you are knowledged, what do you make of this?

Who would Khan possibly train with between the 2nd-11th?

Would Pacquiao come to the UK from 11th-17th?

Pacquiao will remain in La from 11th-17th train with Buboy Fernandez. Not sure who Khan will train with, probably some assistant coach from the wildcard or a coach in the UK.

There is no chance at all of pac training in the uk, the logistics of moving so many people and the disruption would be unrealistic for such a short space of time.

I think khan will return to the uk 10 or so days prior, training with an assistant with roach coming over 3days beforehand, he doesn't need to be there all week as training is mostly over. The priority will be minimizing roach's time away from pac
