see your point, my £20s are thining out a lot lately as well, ive a feeling it aint that bad though.:think:good
"Amir Khan will never give his racist critics the satisfaction of losing to a White Boy, especially if their from England" And i know.......Mcclosky is not from England, i may be wrong..? Thats how much i don't care about him fighting Amir Khan. I've seen 30 seconds of Mcclosky's boxing career, and from that i came to the conclusion that Amir Khan will spark him out badly.
I have to say it really depends which McCloskey shows up. I think because of the respect he has for Khan the McCloskey that fought against Morrison/Bazan/Rasilla will probably show up and for that reason I give him a chance. If the McCloskey that fought Lauri show's up Khan will spark him. Here is the thing though in terms of placing a bet - 1 - I predict Paul McCloskey the boxer to show up which he does best 2 - I predict Khan might underestimate him 3 - McCloskey has the ability to hit a gear late on in a fight for those 3 things to happen at the same time I'd put a cheek 20 on McCloskey. Overall I see Khan getting the UD but let's see what odd's the bookies offer if this fight finally gets made.
Still living in hope then mate. I don't see the want in the kid tbh...shame cos he could easily win a title on his ability but he lacks that much needed and overlooked ingredient.
just hanging by a thread:yep i think kotelnik would be ideal for him, a light hitter who'll more than likely be there for 12 rounds, plus he wont get things his own way, need to make that fight:deal thought i read something bout berto, not sure if anything is set in stones yet for that tho
I'm the same I'm a fan of Ortiz just can't belive the way his career is going. He has the tools to be a Leg!!!
Last thing i read about Berto fight was Ortiz wanted it at a certain weight. Stylistically on recent fights Ortiz could do well against Kotelnik because he's been using a lot of lateral movement and what i would call safe punching (Scoring Shots..no Mustard) but he seems to have a mental block and loses focus in longer fights when no getting the success he wants. I think he wants to land hard shots and knock guys out and is struggling to stick to plan. Kotelnik did really well with Alexander speedy approach. I think he's learned from Khan fight that fighters will hit and run. I could see Ortiz doing well for first few rounds using Khan's template but once Kotelnik starts timing him and catches him with solid shots i can see him losing his way and losing a fight he could of won.
thats right, ortiz wanted it at 143 i think. aint seen the alexander fight so cant comment, bit im not giving up on him just yet:bbb
I'd like to see him leave his current trainer and find someone else and give it one last push because i think it's that serious with him. It's really last chance saloon. He already had a name for having no heart before starting and he's not really put doubters words down throats. He is fighting rather reserved at the moment. It's like telling a banger...ok you bang but your chins ****...just box and win on points. I think he needs a trainer who will find the balance but he drains mentally in tough fights. I think he can win a title one day but he seems way to happy with life even when losing/drawing.
