The footage of the fight is so clear, and the debate is done to death... How can anybody still believe this insane statement?

Bute just got lucky, nothing more nothing less.
He got knocked down by Andrade with about 4 seconds left on the clock, got on his feet on his own and in time (see the seconds from the clip) and it's the ref, and Andrade not going to a neutral corner that made it look fishy.

But that doesn't matter... Anybody here (I hope) knowns the rules for a KO, TKO and a boxing match.

Indeed, that's what caused this totally insane idea by many posters here.
The ref f#cked up, and Andrade not going to the neutral corner made it look even worse.

Of course, Bute won't go step outside the country without his personal ref and judges to bail him out of trouble.

He got up barely in time (look at the time on youtube) and the round was over before he got up.

It is not at all uncommon for people who identify themselves as "hard core fans" to be ignorant of the actual rules of boxing.

Bute was in no condition to continue, he was on ***** street. You can't be saved by the bell, yet thats what Butes personal ref ensured by stopping the count and then resuming it. Bute had like 20 seconds, and he was STILL in no condition to continue. Andrade was robbed of a KO. Bute is a pretender of a champion, and one-trick poney to boot.

I think you have a few rules mixed up here Simply!
KO = 10 seconds on the floor
Can't be saved by the bell ONLY means you have to get up, on your own within the appropriate time. After that the fight is OVER!

Can you imagine what would have happened if there was a ref who stopped the bout 10 seconds after the final bell or something :nut
Remember the Chavez vs Taylor bout, with only 2 seconds on the clock, people went berserk then. Can you imagine in this case!
    It would be overturned anyway.

The ref f#cked up, that's not Bute's fault.

KO = 10 seconds, or the referee determines you are unable to continue.

Bute clearly was unable to continue. Marlon Wright (Bute's personal ref) did what he was paid by Interbox to do...make sure Bute gets the win. If this fight happened anywhere other than Canada or Romania, Bute would have an official loss on his record.

    Bute had 14 seconds.

The final bell can't save you.

If it was at any other moment in the fight, it would've been waved over upon him getting to his feet. He looked like a corpse being lifted by a puppeteer.

That said, no it's not a KO loss. Just like Joey Maxim beat Sugar Ray Robinson. Just like Lennox Lewis defeated Vitali right before retirement. Just like Pacquiao never lost to JMM. Just like Chavez earned his draw with Whitaker.

One must take in much much more than the W/L result. If that's all one looks at, than go live in your little bubble or on boxrec (I'm talking to you, thread starter).
