the fact that Bute was out on his feet when he got up and no longer able to continue, in a fight you couldnt be saved by the Bell. The ref gave Bute what an additional 6 or 7 seconds allowing the final bell to ring. Bute was knocked out and no amount of home Cooking will ever change that. The honest impartial virtuous man knows in his heart that Bute was Knocked out and that regardless of what the record shows he has one loss.

**** you by the way, you nutthugger! I hate ur kind, principil and integrity mean **** to you, and the facts are used just as another way to spin who and what you support.

LMFAO here, it's hilarious to see all those disgruntled fans bashing on Bute more than 2 years after the fact...

Had he gassed in the 11th and got KD, sure thing it would have been a KO. Except the whole thing happened in the last seconds of the 12th... he was lucky to even get up, and in this case that's all he needed given the time of the KD. Very close to a KO, but no cigar.

The man learned his lesson and worked on stamina. What he did in the rematch probably had Kessler shivering. :D

The thing that pisses me of about this fight is that Andrade would have finally become champ. I think that was his shot to become one. He is one of those tough guys that are so close to being champs yet more than likely will never become one.

What's funny is one of his nuthuggers started the thread, trying to set the record straight and utterly failed.

Fine that fight happened 2 years ago. He STILL hasn't set foot outside Quebec and fought a live body to validate any claim of being #1 SMW.

What's funny is Bute and his Butard fanboys have a million excuses for him fighting nobodies and hiding out in the Bell Centre fight after fight.

Wow, you're a funny man. :tired

    1. I doubt Robney is a Bute nuthugger. How did he fail exactly? Did you read the ESB article I posted in my last, which actually highlights the timekeeper's mistake?

    2. Door's wide open. Name one guy, amongst all of Bute's opponents, that would have generated more revenues by getting Bute to fight him [wherever else]. Montreal is where the money is, with upwards of 18K people coming to see Bute fight... for damn sure, a lot of those people are interested in going to MSG to see him fight the best. Jean Bedard knows business.

That's the rule in all associations but one. Of course, you have to make a little effort to be able to know that, and obviously that's not your case.

I've read all the rules, including the Quebec commission ones. What have you done to pretend you know better?

I'll write it slowly, because I know you don't understand very fast: Bute had not to be able to continue, because the fight was over as soon as his hands had cleared the mat. You can read it again and again. One day, you'll understand what it means.

Bute was Knocked down, not knocked out.

Andrade was walking towards Bute. He was in the center of the ring, still moving forward. He was not running around.

Anyway, Bute was up at 8.

You are the one who failed, because you are ignorant and proud of it.

    Do your homework, kid.

the facts are pretty straight forward. Bute goes down with like 6 seconds left in the round, he gets up in about 8 seconds. Therefore, he beat the count. Is his safety in danger if the ref let's him continue? no, because there is no way he can take any more punches since the clock has run out.

As for the ref, he followed the rules by the book. If the fighter leaves the neutral corner. the ref shall discontinue the count until said fighter goes back to his neutral corner.

Great guy, yeah. Hey, we was given a second shot, and a lot of haters thought Bute would get dropped like a bad habit.
