... that wont be someone dangerous as Peter or anybody
from top condensers but that should definitely be someone
who prepare him for fighting one of the big brothers.

So who is available on the market: tall, while not much
dangerous and not completely shot ... Valuev maybe :)?

Valuev might not be a bad choice.

But I'm pretty sure Adamek is looking for an oppo with the following characteristics...

    1) size of the Klits + orthodox style
    2) has a name
    3) past his prime

It would also be useful if Adamek's fight helps promote the Klit match, so preferably someone known in either Germany or the USA.

He could import Lance Whitaker, but that's a silly mismatch. Krasniqi wouldn't be a bad choice, but he's fighting in Feb. Maybe Ustinov...but that might be too dangerous.

Why not Timo Hoffmann? He's 6'7, he's arguably shot, he fights orthodox, and he's famous in Germany. Only drawback is Hoffmann would be tough to KO.

There's no need to look for a similar style, sparring 20 times a pro fight will bring him as far as possible to deal with Klitschko. Some name fighter such as Rahman would be smart, or in a superb move fight Ruslan Chagaev for the interim WBA belt, and when him and Wlad are done, Haye will either fight the winnder or lose the belt - win-win situation.

previously i was expecting him to fight Witherspoon (Tim's nephew, plus theres the tie in since i think it was Tim Witherspoon who fought Golota in Poland).

i don't think anyone will have an issue with him taking an easy fight, don't risk the millions and i think the Poles will be happy just to see him in person.

i still was hoping for the wild chance Haye would attempt to squeeze a fight in with him, but again who can trust Haye to actually keep his word

This is an excellent topic. Because there isn't too many meaningful options. But then again, this is a tune-up so you can just throw him in there with a bum. He has to get ready to for Klitschko, so u want to find someone with maybe a similar style. Alot to think about. These kind of fights are always dangerous though. We've seen many fighters get dropped in their tune-up fights. However, Adamek, is mentally tough and disciplined. He has a shot to win the title this year.

Does not work that way. Once you win another ABC title, they drop you from the rankings. So if you have the IBF belt, the WBA will NEVER make you a mandatory, and if you were a mandatory (which is basically what an interim champ is with certain conditions regarding the return of the other holder), you'd lose that right upon gaining another organizations belt.

    Absolutely anyone he chooses.

The only problem I ever had with adamek was his shocking choice of opponents since beating arreola, but by signing to fight either brother he has shat all over my criticisms. Unless you are an adamek hater you couldn't have a problem with him fighting even zak page or shannon briggs next.

Granted people might not be convinced as to his abilities at heavyweight, I sure aint, but every fan on boxing has to appreciate a guy who brings it to every fight and signs to fight the hardest puncher in the sport.
