Source: BS :happy Not a great fight, but this is going to be quality. Should be a lot more training action involved.
CBS is one of the biggest (if not the biggest) television networks in America. They are in approximately 115 million homes (HBO has close to 30 million, Showtime a little less than 20 mill for comparison). Unlike HBO or Showtime, there is no subscription required for the channel. The CBS Corporation also owns Showtime.
this fight has potential to do big big numbers fight camp should be good viewing the fight will probably be one sided all in all should be a good thing for boxing hopefully it goes well and cbs get more big fights because hbo is **** at boxing right now
oh right cool, that sounds exciting, if only it was for a better fight! does HBO have links to any big terrestrial channels like showtime?
Now we'll be able to finally settle this 24/7 vs FC360 debate. FC360's coverage of two guys, one fight, will be easier to compare to HBO's previous stuff. I'm eager to see what kind of approach they'll take. Will they stick to the simple, but effective, formula used in their current Super-Six series? Or will they jazz it up a bit, and make it a little more Hollywood too? Can't wait.
B/c CBS sucks too. Sure they have "access" to 115 million homes but who actually watches CBS? CBS is geared more towards old people. They do have the NCAA tourney which does good rating b/c it's sports. But CBS regular shows suck.
