Kessler update - speaks on Froch, Bute, S6 and return.

How can some be really idiots and think I was saying Kessler is ducking because he didn't take the fight in Mach. ******s.. I get the men wasn't ready , but now the men comes with a statement that says if he will be ready to fight in June. Well why can't he take Bute in June then ? huh ? Why does he says the men who was froze 2 years on the ouside of the tournament should take a step down. He should be a men and fight Bute. Bute want's it , showtime want's it. So...

Anyway Kessler ... like I said before doesn't have the shot at The S6 winner. Bute does. Why do I think that. Because Kessler has a promise while Bute has a contract , that's why, and that's why his being so vocal now.

 

Bute wants to fight this summer. Kessler is saying he will put the gloves on this spring and fight this summer. Has he talked about fighting Bute? No. He mentioned that he was the first in line to get a shot at the super 6 winner.
What will Kessler do? Fight tomato cans and wait for the end of the tourney?

Just fight Bute and stop whining.

 

He'll have time to fight TWICE before getting a shot at the super 6 winner.

Why not Bute?

 

Kessler if fully fit would rip Bute a new anus.

 

Kessler has "emeritus" status with the WBC. That means he gets a shot at the WBC titlist any time he wants it. The S6 winner will emerge from the tourney with the WBC title. Therefore, the tournament winner will have a choice; fight Kessler or vacate.

 

Only a smart men with strong convictions could say that. Very inteligent , we are all waiting for your next inteligent phrase to be spoken.

 

Yeah but the S6 winner doesn't have a choice(in case of Bute) , because they have a contract with showtime. Showtime has an option on the S6 winner same way they have a 3 fights contract with Bute and a option for the 4th fight. Do you think Showtime is paying Bute 6 mil to " take a step down " ?

 

Bute and Kessler dont deserve an immediate shot at the S6 winner and should both fight each other first for the honour.

 

Bute will duck a fully healthy Kessler......

 

why do you lump bute in the same category as kessler?

 

Because Kessler pulled out albeit with a good reason but the way I see it Kessler and Bute will be the next two best SMW after the winner of the S6 and it makes sense for them to fight each other first.

 

don't you think kessler has done more than enough to get a crack at the winner long before bute deserves a shot at kessler?

 

Kessler beats Bute, Froch beats Ward... then a huge rematch! That is the ideal scenario for me!

 

maybe. but 'rock, paper, scissors' in a division which has no legitimate champion and no standout contender probably won't work that easily.

i'm still sceptical on kessler's return and froch has been the master of a limited fighter who's on borrowed time for me.

 

I like that idea although a Froch Bute fight would also interest me. Anything but Ward his style is conducive to a borefest.
