1. Khan is not a fringe European level fighter. 2. Khan will not plod in flat footed whilst not paying complete attention. 3. Who has McCloskey beaten who is as skilled, fast or even as powerful as Khan? 4. Does Khan actually fight anything like Lauri? 5. Who has McCloskey fought who brings a similar style to the ring as Khan? 6. What happens when McCloskey finds out that hes actually to slow to move out of the way of Khans punches If im honest i feel that McCloskey has a much better chance against any of the other top 5 light welters:good
possibly...if McCloskey fights well and Bradley fights not so well....it is boxing...it could happen well possiby.
My god let it go we all know he was knocked out by prescott, but khan is a totally different fighter now. Yes he can still be hurt and that's why mcloskey has a punchers chance but that's it,it's a slight chance at that. You also think andy lee will beat Martinez so i think it's more you just being patriotic rather than truly believing lee or mcloskey would win.
I was just replying to the previous post. I dont think Lee will beat Martinez...I'd obviously love it if he did, but honestly dont see it happening. I do think McCloskey has a decent chance of beating Khan, though in my opinion, its not as mismatched as Lee V Martinez
right hook is from preston, and his proper name is azir patel. [only kidding] though i will say a khan win is not a foregone conclusion, a fired up mclosky with nothing to lose and all to gain, could be a handfull, plus he seems to be a very resiliant fighter as well.:think:good
I really am hoping Mccloskey has something that we havn't fully seen, and can step up and make it a decent contest. These chances are so rare in boxing, especially UK boxing. I have nothing but contempt for Kevin Mitchell because he had a chance similar to this... not as big as this, but still a huge opportunity, to go from being just another boxer, to mainstream penetration through a well publicised bout.. and he blew it, both in the bout and in training for it. I hope Mccloskey appreciates this for what it is and gives it everything.
