im in glasgow and only 15mins away from the arena but when you consider 50 quid for basically a view that will be near the back then you have to think twice.

i agree if the bill was better then you would pay it but also if it was burns mandatory or a unification.

will probably be a night in with a few beers etc as im sure there is a bill from the usa on that night too.

£35 quid should have been the price

I wonder if Simpson Smith 2 will be on this card that might sweeten the blow slightly

i usually get afew of my mates who arent that much into boxing to come but if i tell them it's 50 quid they'll tell me where to go , if i say 30 quid that's reasonable and they'll come for a good night.

i like to go to show's on the regular but 50 quid for cheap seats would take the fun away from it and we all know the undercard's wont be any better.

Hopefully Warren is just mugging off the Scot's.

    :good

Cant believe im agreeing with nutjob on a Ricky Burns article but what he has said above is completely true. £50 for this fight is a complete rip off considering Laryea is barely commenwealth title standard. The undercard is likely to be garbage as well, itll be lucky to have a british title fight on he undercard, probably just appleby and arthur vs some journeymen or afrobum.

Living in Scotland i want to support scottish boxing at all level but these cards and dinner cards are ruining it for me and many others.

£50 for a commonwealth standard fight. That's horrendous, anyone going to that is getting properly mugged off.

To be honest, Im a Liverpool Match goer and its £50 to go and watch them nearly every other week so paying £50 to go and watch 6-7 fights every 3 months or so is priced about right I think.

So far the only undercard fight I've heard of is Jennings v McMillan. Doesn't do much to make me want to pay £50. I remeber one of the best Warren promoted fights I ever went to, Arthur v Gomez, was only £25, so this is twice as much.
One thing I will say for Braehead, if you get the right seat sometimes the cheapest ticket can give a better view than some of the floor seating
