Haye could be next? Yeah, Haye could have been next for Klitschkos, but he refuses. Haye will not fight Peter either.

I believe Peter is already done. Haye would outbox him and stop him late. As far as Briggs, I think he is also finished after that beatdown by Vitali. Even though I would love to see Briggs go at it with Peter. Until the Klit brothers retire, there will be no other HW champ unless someone gets lucky with Haye. It better happen soon due to Haye retiring in October and the klit brothers going after the last belt (WBA). I tired of so many posters saying "well, this guy has a chance or this guy will beat one of the brothers". They have the HW division on lock whether we like it or not. Even if they retired, who is going to bring back some of the excitement of the HW division anytime soon. Lower weight classes is where its at for now and for a much longer period.

Farmboxer, I can see Haye fighting Peter. Peter just has a punchers chance and Haye knows this. So Haye will just outbox him into deep waters and stop him. Haye knows what he is doing. He is going to rake in as much money as possible milking the belt with easy opposition and then retire as a two division champ.

Peter's pretty much finished in my opinion. He shouldn't get another title shot until he beats another top contender. The fact that he got another opportunity after losing against Chamber's, and beating a couple of bums says it all....

I wouldn't mind seeing Peter be Haye's next opponent, he's a far better option than guys like Mormeck and Rahman. Getting a title shot after just losing to Wlad for a title is quick, Peter should have had to beat someone of note first but I don't have a huge problem with it because its a good match up. I think Haye beats Peter but it wouldn't be easy. Peter has been getting into decent shape this last go round and would most likely do the same for a Haye fight. This fight won't happen but it would be nice if it did.

Haye/Peter would be very interesting. Peter eats bombs like no other in today's hw scene and Haye's stamina might become a factor. But the fact that Peter won't ever fight a Klitschko again makes that fight pretty much meaningless.

No, he would not. At best for our David Haye, it would be a replication of the Valuev fight. Haye would run for the entire fight and try to gain a decision on a punch-landed margin per rounnd of about 8-2.

But, our David will not make this fight. It does even approach satisfying his risk/reward criteria.
