Well does he? I don't remember seeing him in many lists. I say that if Lewis doesn't deserve a top ten power punching rep, then neither does 190 lb cruiserweight Rocky Marciano.

    discuss.

Shavers, Tyson, Foreman top Lewis IMO.
Lewis hitting harder than Louis, more than likely IMO...

Well, there are plenty of guys contesting this spot. The only clear picks IMO are Foreman and Shavers. The last three places are open for like 10 guys competing for them. Lewis is one of those.

What, just heavyweight or all divisions?

I'd say no, either which way. Pretty subjective as it is.

Some guys can hit massively hard, but not deliver it properly or consistantly.

Noysubjective at all. I would say its odds on that the top 5 hitters ever are heavweights.

If you have a lightweight that you think hits harder than Lennox Lewis I'd definately like to hear about it.

It's like asking "what's the deadliest venomous snake...a fer de lance or a cobra?" What does it matter...they both can kill you many times over...same with Lewis vs the pantheon of deadly hitters in this thread...the difference is negligable...of course Lewis is in the top 5...probably the top three, but again, the difference is minute.

I Agreed Lenny Lewis has much, much more Raw-Power then Joey Louis - BUT using size to "prove" it is v.dumb. :deal

1 - Shavers is 210lbs - BUT has lots more One-punch-Power [shown by DEVESTATING KO's where he THROWS people about And knocks-them-cold with MEGA-HAYMAKERS] then 250lbs Vitlay And Wald.

2 - Peak Foreman was 217lbs to 224lbs - BUT had a SHITLOAD of POWER [teh most ever IMO] And proved it VS ATG comp [Joey Frazier And Kenny Norton].

    PS - Peak 1938 Louis was a soft 198lbs - NOT 210lbs. :deal

Shavers had more power than Tyson according to Larry Holmes and james Tilllis. Also Shavers had more power than Foreman according to Ron Lyle and Muhammad Ali.

You are probably correct about the weights. I got Louis height from his boxrec record, when it said 6'2" I thought that may be off a little, i suspect Joe louis was closer to 6'0".
