I voted Tito just based off the fight with Hopkins and their fight that ended up in draw, but honestly I don't care which one is higher. All I know is that its damn close.

    Good thread.

    Of course.

Not that he rates oscar higher that I agree with but how its not even close.
I know oscar fought way tougher guys but he also lost most of those big fights.

Oscar continued to fight, taking on tough guys, winning and losing. Tito kind of disappeared, didn't test himself too much. I'd have to give Oscar the edge based on guts and effort.

Actually they both have not been relevant since 2004, difference was Oscar being the cashcow and everyone wanted to fight him therefore he was still in big fights, he has guts though. That and him beating trinidad and mosley the second time in my eyes therefore puts him slightly higher, but not wayyyyy higher though.

Oscar's gold medal puts De La Hoya over Trinidad.

Oscar's resume is full of him beating up smaller older men whom are one or two fights away from retirement and losing in big fights. I place them very close to one another somewhere behind Winky Wright.
