Bollocks. Matchroom are now stating negotiations are over, fight is off. Earlier I was going to make a post about how at this point in negotiations it's gone too far to fail, and was going to reference the times when it can fail at this stage, usually PPV revenue distribution... but I thought to myself "there is no way Mccloskey is in the league where they can begin dictating things like that. They won't be."... left it out of my post..... few hours later, turns out it's precisely what it failed on. It looks to me like Mccloskey wanted it.. and Hearns ****ed it up being greedy.

Precisely. The various internet forums are full of people demanding Prescott. They are idiots. The fight simply isn't viable. What's after that Craig Watson? There's simple rules for rematches in shock losses. You either do it in a relatively short time frame after the bout. Ideally the next fight. Failing that, You do if the opponent (who won) has managed to go on winning. Or who at the time of the possible rematch, has managed to get himself to a level whereby the fight is an acceptable match even if the previous bout hadn't occurred. Prescotts loss to Mitchell, followed by Mitchell's failure. Put the nail in the coffin of a rematch ever happening. Short of Prescott getting a shot at a decent fighter and getting a shock win, which judging on his abilities in the ring is a very unlikely thing. No amount of "Amir Khan is set to face the only fighter ever to defeat him".. can make up for what Prescott has done since over the last couple of years They don't release the figures to the press. However everyone finds out because advertisers and other partners for obvious reasons get them .. and they also feed the journalists. Khan has had a mixed PPV history..some going as low as what would be classed as an acceptable point to which to drop down to non PPV.. others doing as decent as your average Frank Warren card these days. A PPV ranges from around 70K (which isn't particularly great) to around 200K (Being pretty decent) for this level of PPV event. However, after the Maidana bout, SKY it seems are prepared to go all out.. I think this one will do well.
Khan-Kotelnik did about 30k did it not? I'm pretty sure his other PPV's before that did badly as well.
Exactly. It did? I haven't seen any reliable source telling me that. What about Prescott/***an/Barrera/Salita?
The 30K figure that people mention for that fight was said by Boente during the Haye - Klit nonsense, as a means of trying to prove a point... and since then they has become "internet fact"
I have a feeling it'll be sorted. Hearns is becoming greedy and is looking for a way to add some more numbers to the paycheck. McCloskey will press him to just accept.
Dude, get the f out, you Keyboard Warrior. You don't like any of the Khan's, or their fans. You'll lay them all out, won't you? Go make a thread about how Bradley will become P4P #1, *****. P.S- I don't like Saj, but you're just pathetic.
Are you telling me they all did terrible without any sort of figure's? You just told me to look at the figure's. How do you know they are bad when you don't have any yourself, mate?
If it does continue, Hearn is playing a tricky game.. everyday that goes by is another day closer to the point at which TK have to have a fighter in place and signed.. I don't know at what point they will have agreed but it'll certainly be no more than 14 days from now, perhaps less. As any opposition has to be given time to go through setting up training and then doing an 8 week camp. Hearns knows this, every day this goes on, means TK have less time to go out and find another opponent.. and every day that goes by increases the sense of urgency and likelyhood TK will just give him what he wants. I can only assume that's what did today
iv already done that, and your the biggest nuthugger on this website. iv seen my faire share of *******s but you outdo the lot of them, you never stop bumming khan all your posts orientate around him lol, And with bradley its a different case, bradley is the future of boxing 1 more loss on khans record and he's finished,
