Warren said the Khan-Kotelnik PPV figures were "in excess of 100,000". Either way, it's still not a great number.
If Khan's such a PPV success Sky wouldn't have let him go for the Paulie fight. I thought there would be more figures out there, seems not. Warren said that the Kotelnik show did "in excess of 100,000" and he had previously said that he needed 250,000 buys for the Prescott fight for it to be a success. It would have obviously cost more to bring Kotelnik over than Prescott so there is no chance it was a success. Anyway, I'm getting into Palmer territory here. :barf
The deal HAS to be done this week, or early Monday next week. It should ideally be Officially announced next week, as Khan's flying out on in the second week of February. Ironic, coming from you atsch. Have a deep look at yourself. How old are you? Because your posts are no better than what a 15 year old can do. Making threats to guys you don't even know and talking about how you'd beat them up atsch
If Khan fights in this country then without doubt it will be PPV. If he's fighting in America then I think it will have to be a competitive fight for sky to make it PPV.
Khan's fight against Paulie wasn't on Sky because Amir seperated from Frank. Khan's team had then to make a deal with Sky to show their fights, but a deal wasn't made, and Frank made his show for Upton Park on that date instead, so Khan's team had to go to ITV. Nothing about Sky dropping Khan. Mate, if you sell 10,000 PPV's, that's still considered a PPV attraction. These are still big numbers.
Ur just an arse bandit. I know Saj and he is a good lad, U don't even know him and I can tell you he would spark you and if he doesn't then I will
Warren made that up aswell, he said it as means of countering Boente's ridiculous rumour with something equally flawed but in the wrong direction. Add them up, divide by 2 and you're in the ball park. I can tell you one thing..if it had done 30K, there would of been no Salita Khan PPV thats for sure.
lol, nothing like that dude it just kinda gets annoying when other names are dragged into conversation, I've known Saj for a very very long time so it just kinda gets a bit personal thats all
It's a sensible policy if you think into the reasons why. People come up with some insane numbers for PPV buys on the internet. I can tell you a pretty simple way of determining what something is going to do which usually works.. The broadcasters themselves usually know beforehand roughly what something is going to do, as they have access to all the previous buy data, information on their customer base, and all the other boring crap that they put in to determine buy trends... That sum and calculation filters it's way through to the purse. Look at the purse on offer, divide it by 5 (perhaps 7/8 if its a super fight. As some boxers negotiate a higher return per buy) and there's your buys ( or at least the expected buys, which often isn't far wrong )
