    Lewis, Hearns, Wlad.

What would Wlad be without utilizing his height? He would be losing to guys like Purrity and Brewster

Interesting pick Il Duce !!......He had the same reach than Pacquiao, and always effective with it !

And Carlos Monzon is the best in my opinion.....

I thought that Rocky was masterful in utilizing his 5' 10" frame.
    He made himself look shorter.

He was very hard to hit with the right hand.
And when you attempted it, he would duck under it beautifully,
then slipped in close, and ripped in hard body shots.

No one utilized their height and reach advantages better than Monzon. He coldly and deliberately controlled the distance in his bouts...and when the difference was minimal, as it was with Benvenuti, his power and offensive capabilities surfaced more...backed up by toughness and chin.

good point. i think this is where some of his cruelty showed...in fighting opponents against whom he had the height and reach advantage and gleefully tore them up round after round...

wlad and hearns are good...u might throw holmes in there too, he was bout 6'4 with a long stiff jab. The frazier fight is a good example i think..he was just right in his range.

Muhammad Ali in his prime was a master at keeping distance as he wasnt a great inside fighter, if anyone did get close enough, Ali would usually clinch & get distance again.

Hearns. When Tommy used his reach and didn't brawl he was hard to beat.
