Chris Arreola sure has trouble looking intimidating with a chest like a wet blanket...

I hope this Joey Abell puts Arreola out of the picture for good so we can stop hearing about him...

    Fully agree.

Go, Abell....Finish the job Vitali and Adamek started, and Rid us of Arreola, already.

Yeah, people just glancing at Boxrec and writing Abell off should realize that both times he got stopped it was while on his feet (and one of those times he was undertrained and weighing in the 250's).

The kid can punch the lights out, too...but of course Arreola has a good chin.

Both are lighter than they've been in a few years.

The tale of the tape is interesting...they're almost exactly the same in age, height, wingspan, and KO%.

Arreola has been in with a much higher class of opponent...but both times he got outboxed soundly. He's also never seen a southpaw across the ring from him, curiously enough (barring tomato can Curtis Taylor).

It could be a fun slugfest. :good

You reckon Arreola ran out of breath holding his stomach in like that?

It's a shame really. In the 230's and he might start to be near his potential.

Amazing that even now after being considered a top 5 heavyweight to becoming a nobody he still is obese.

Fatty needs to be 220, not one lb more.

Good to see Arreola weighing less and looking in better shape. Still about 19 pounds off top fighting shape for me though.

Look at his body, he could fight CW if he leaned and toned out.

I respect the man for fighting professionally, and making to the level he has, but c'mon...

Can you imagine Arreola coming to a weigh-in looking like that in the 60's or 70's? You would have never heard of him... He would have been stompled long before that- and put on the back burner for fighters who are disciplined and could actually compete with the top dogs...

Great to see Arreola down in weight at this time a year, when most of us are fatter. Arreola himself has said many times he needs to be 240-, so still some ways to go. Wonder if Shields and co. were able to help him.
