No ***, no you have me mixed up with someone else, I haven't accused anyone of anything. I'm not even getting into this dumb **** as you have clearly demonstrated that you are literally not capable of having reasonable dialogue, and provide no meaningful input on any topic. This isn't what this thread is about and I'm not going to be coaxed into hijacking dudes thread by a borderline ******ed male prostitute.

DLH fought alot of good fighters and big names...early on big names who were shot and fighting above the weight they were ever good at. also, his legacy of no rematches when he got his ass kicked or something was close leaves alot to be desired...

whitaker- close fight, most thought whitaker won....fights david kammau next?

quartey, a great fight...no rematch fights oba carr next

then loses to trinidad , running the last part of the fight?? great strategy....and no rematch.... fights Derek Coley ...whoopie

lost to mosley and made sure he got back at him...

totally got his ass kicked by felix sturm

he got back what he gave later in his career...getting beat up by sturm and hopkins 2 naturally bigger guys than him

i like the guy, hes just a little overrated

DLH is a bonafide great in boxing. He fought the best, didnt always win but was never outclassed. The Hopkins fight was a step too far but to try and diminish his accomplishments is ludicrous. Maybe he got a couple of lucky decisions but he arguably was on the wrong end of some aswell namely the Trinidad fight. The **** about him being not Mexican enough for the Mexicans is bollocks to me, correct me if im wrong but wasnt he born and bred in the USA and he also won an Olympic gold for America so Mexico can pretty much go ****'em selves as far as m concerned. Great fighter.

Nahhh Chief.. You're wrong... The fact we're talking about this guy means he is an influence on boxing and its fan base..

Everyone loves Oscar especially those of us who were old enough to witness his whole career.. Quit talking about these young boys like they really mean anything... Anyone who knows the sport knows what"s up.

Dude, this is always your favorite line... "I respect this fighter etc.....".

That's the same way you started your thread about how a certain fighter's advisor better not be fired or he may just rat on his former boss PEDs use.

Then, you ended it with I hope it doesn't go down this way because nobody should ever get shitted on like that.

Mind you, no real facts were ever used in that thread, just speculation.

    Talk about hater fantasies!

This is not a Pacquiao thread...

Anyway...yeah Oscar's a great fighter, and a typical (yet successful) promoter.

Agreed. I was a De La Hoya fan as well (the boxer). He's just a typical promoter. The scummier you promote, the more successful you become.

Seems that way. With that said...he has nothing on Arum and King.
