Is anyone else finding Roach more and more annoying. I know its his fighter and im not just talking about this but he talks alot for a trainer. We already have plenty of clown talking. We dont need more.

 

Not that I completely agree with it, but he was right about Manny.

 

hes an ex boxer,of course he talks smack and sometimes says some hype things and damn right crazy things,people who get hit in the head for a living arent all geniuses.

And i think freddie knows that chavez is not at that level yet,but then again,hes the one whos seen him fight and train first hand.

maybe he has him fighting a bum to see if what they worked on happens in a fight,to test how well chavez is progressing.

i do think freddie is using an old trainers trick,to make a bold statment and big up his fighters confidence,a lot of this game in mental,you can have the physical gifts such as fraudley and ortiz have,but if you dont have that mental toughness,self belief and determination,you wont amount to sh*t!.

 

Roach is a great trainer with great knowledge....but Martinez would whitewash Chavez. Total mismatch.
