Stupid move from Khan. Is Ariza gone from the Wild Card altogether or just stop training Khan.

Ive said this for a long long time , Khan needs a publicist and an all round better advisor , not sure what the **** has happened here but Ariza as people have pointed out is the Wild Card's strength and conditioning coach ................. this is big news actually , there has to be a good reason for this .

Maybe Ariza gave who ever is advising Khan a slap like he did to Manny's advisior :good

    From Khans Twitter

"Sat at homea drug testing guy from sport dopping control, unexpected outta nowhere. Drinking a lot of water so I can ****. Hate drug tests

Holy ****, does anyone think illegal/banned drugs could've been or were used to help him in his last fight?

Seems suspicious to me tbh....as mentioned a winning formula and a close knit partnership then this....be very very interesting to see how this develops.

Very strange if true. Much more to this story than just needing to 'move on'.

Gabriel Montoya said that Ariza will not be working at the wildcard anymore, so it was Roach who fired Ariza.

The quote was from Khans twitter, I was asking based on the fact that hes being unexpectedly tested at the same time its announced Ariza is no longer his conditioning coach, could the 2 things be related? And could Ariza have given Khan something that would strengthen his punch resistance...he was renowned for being glass jawed before the fight, then he takes flush bangs from one of the hardest hitters in his weight division. :think

Judging from Khans twitter history I wouldn't put it past him

Hasn't been the smartest in terms of online stuff.

Big news if Ariza is not part of Wilcard anymore though.

Not really. I'd be hoping the authorities do random tests at fairly regular intervals.

Asif Vali is an example of someone who while I'm sure he's a great business.. understands next to nothing about boxing. He is effectively Khan's promoter these days, which is pretty dangerous considering the amount of experience and knowledge it takes to be successful in the boxing industry.

If this is about money as is speculated in various quarters, I can imagine it now, "Amir...this Ariza fella we are paying % to, you've worked with him a few times, surely you can just do yourself what he showed you? No?..".. leading on to "Yer mate Saj has watched Freddie Roach quite a bit hasn't he... do you think he could learn the ropes of this training lark?"
