If true this is good for Boytsov and heavyweightboxing. He will be seen more often and will have a goal in his career. So far he fought just journeyman and needed to step up.

Now hope Boystoy steps up in competition aswell, since beating Bydenko (when he was still concidered dangerous) he only beat up a few journeymen.

To be honest, I think Boytsov should be ruling the cruisers. He is made for it.

Maybe when he was skinny and 18 but now he's bulked up (muscular) and hasn't weighed less than 220 since 2007.

A 6'1 guy with his build......ok he could make cruiser maybe but he'd have a totally different body--saying Boystov should be a cruiser is like saying if 80s Tyson was fighting today he should be a cruiser.

This is likely the successor to Wlad at this point. Even if he rehabs and stays busy he can easily face wlad in 20112/2013. At that point, even if he loses, he can learn a lot and move on to win a title.

Strong, young, technically proficient. Not much to dislike about the guy.

Yep, and they were matching him up with cans. Hopefully GBP does a much better job.

Hopefully this move pays off for him. From what I seen on youtube he is an exciting fighter with what looks like good power and punches. Hope he continues his climb up the latter, and get more exposure here in the states. If Haye wasn't retiring so soon and if Boystov got a little more experience I'd have like to see that fight; even though I'm a Klitschko fan and rather Klitschko beat them both first. But in the end it will be the Klitschko's who will have to derail him eventually , I assume.
