This Asif Vali guys has always had a bad rep in the boxing game. if you think about it everything bad in Khans career has been down to his team getting to involved.

Sacked Harrison in a poor manner
    Hired Rubio on the cheap
    Insisted on Prescott
Insisted on Sky Box Office when his profile wasn't ready
Dumped Warren in a poor manner
Letting fight negotiations for April 16th be so open.

Now this. When Warren and GBP are in control it all fine. when you have a bunch of cab drivers playing promoters they **** it all up.

I know but my god I wish he would or at the very least employee a proper pro to be a co-manager. His team are so clearly out of their depth they are pricing up fighters like Coca-Cola Cans and are so disrespectful to people that they drop, just look at the way they dropped Oliver Harrison and Frank Warren, completely crass and amateurish.

Completely agree with you on that. He needs to keep family and business separate.

Golden Boy should be his full time promoters, negotiate his fights for him and Khan should get a proper boxing manager.

Do you know Asif Vali's history? Does he have a degree? What are his qualifications?

This is a chance for Golden Boy to show their mettle, they need to step in and let Amir know in no uncertain terms that his team of amateurs should be kept for the small business not the Boxing Business.

Also it is clear that they need to take over the operations of Khan's next fight because that is heading for disaster at this rate. Forget about who Amir will be facing next, at this rate there is a very real threat that Amir won't have anyone opposite to him (which would probably be an ideal situation for Team Khan).

Does it matter. Do Warren, King, Arum have degrees?? If there not a laywer like Finkel or Williams then you need someone with a degree in boxing.

I get they wanted someone ****stani and a muslim involved. i dunno have Spencer Fearon as his manager. he would do a better job.

I really want to support Khan... I do.

He seems like a really nice, down to earth kid. But he surrounds himself with tossers like Vali.

I prefer Bradley... even though by all accounts I should prefer Khan. I mean Bradley is a god botherer... one of the things that pisses me off.

It must be very claustrophobic for Amir having family involved, I wouldn't want my dad being too involved in my financial affairs.

Academic qualifications aren't required but you need to understand how the boxing business works, behave professionally and have good people and negotiating skills.
    I give him an "F"

If Khan doesn't fight in april we will be missing out on Haye - Wlad for nothing so he better find someone to fight.

Warren and King know Boxing inside out. That's more important than any degree.
