    What happened to the concept of giving a fighter a damn count? He was not KTFO. Dumb stoppage, although I think Arreola would have followed up.

    My knee-jerk reaction was that the stoppage was way too early, but after watching that kiss over and over, perhaps it was just in the nick of time.

    not as bad as canada's refs but pretty bad nonetheless. although i think arreola woulda won regardless abell should have been given a shot to be counted.

    Nah, the right hand was solid and it rocked him but good...but he wasn't done. He was intelligently trying to grab Arreola directly afterward when he bounced back from the ropes and just didn't have his balance (plus Arreola was still flurrying). It should have been a 10-count, which he'd likely have beaten...10-8 round for Arreola and then who knows what would have happened from round 2 on...
