Suddenly the Lightweight Division is looking very competitve

    After looking at the division I realized that under ideal conditions we could see some very good fights. I think a tournament is out of the question...so please list your hypothetical matches with the following fighters. If I missed anybody please feel free to add them into the mix.

    1. Marquez
    2. Soto
    3. Vasquez
    4. Guerrero
    5. Acosta
    6. Funeka
    7. Katsidis
    8. Rios
    9. Linares

    (the above list is in no particular order)


    Personally I would love to see Marquez vs Soto or Vasquez vs Soto.

    Can we put Zappa at 10? (he faces Vazquez next)

    I think if you take Marquez out they are all pretty evenly matched in various ways

    It has been fun watching Vasquez train for that fight. I imagine that fight will be the classic slick fighter vs the puncher.

    Solid division, can't wait to see how it all unfolds. Does anyone beat Marquez if he stays at lightweight? He's looked solid there for a while now but hes been hurt in most of his 135 fights.

    I imagine it being like the Kim fight, except Zappa punchers harder than Kim. Should be a great one that Miggy wins.

    I think that Vasquez is underrated as well...though Zappa packs a powerful punch
