just got knocked out in 32 seconds. He came in at 311 pounds, and looked like absolute ****. The moment I saw him begin to walk out, I knew he was going to get his ass kicked. It was embarrassing. It was kind of an early stoppage, but he fell flat on his stomach. The ref could have let Abe hit him a few times on the ground to make sure, but oh well. Hopefully he retires.
Very poor stoppage but Sylvia really did look horrible, I thought he might have turned a corner when he got down to 275 in the autumn but obviously not.
WTF Happened to this guy ? 311 ? The man used to make 265. There goes any shot of him reaching the big time agian.
He looked like ****. He did his typical plod/bounce slow heavy front foot step til he got caught. Sad really.
another guy who got by one his size.. now without the ability to train properly hes just a large punching bag
Not just, he's been a part time deputy for a couple of years. After the Fedor loss(and the 3/4 of a million he made from it) it seems like he's pretty much given up on serious training.
Exactly. Tim's either broke or he's looking for easy ways to make some cash. 311lbs is a farce. Thats 50lbs + over 265. He's obviously not interested. **** stoppage though. The ref tried to stop it, hesitated changed his mind and then said it was over. atsch
I'd guess just the opposite, Sylvia's probabley very well off with that Affliction money and has no interest in training to the level he'd need to in order to fight at the heighest level again, I doubt either the UFC or SF would have offered him that much anyway.
Im not seeing that. Tim has been getting half his money upfront because of dodgy promoters. He's fighting in non descript promotions and shady bills all over the place. If you're comfortable financially why would you waste your time with that? Why not get his agent to negotiate directly with SF or the UFC? (like Dana would want him back anyway) Why put his reputation on the line vs TUF rejects, old shot boxers and WSM contestants? Tim isnt the brightest dude in the world. It shows....
