    One not mentioned yet:

Augie Sanchez beat Floyd Mayweather. And if the story I read is correct is the only person to this day to have beaten Floyd.

Think it was only as boys - Barry won every national title from 12-17yr old, Represented Scotland at all ages - under 19 captain - Gold medalist in Gaelic Games in Canada Multi national tounament gold medalist - Represented Scotland at Birmingham under 19 Europeans - Beat world military champ Micheal Kelly - lost a close one to Willy Blain from France and generally fought all over the World

I think my memory may be deserting me but I'm thinking they fought at either light - or light welter. I do remember that Ricky going down to possibly light weight as a pro though before dropping even further to his current weight. For the record Barry and Kevin Anderson fought three times in the amateurs Anderson 1st 12-9 Barry 2nd 18-14 and 27-27 draw - the first two were Scottish finals and the third a box off for Manchester Commonwealth Games - Anderson taken to Manchester Barry went to Perm in Russia for the European seniors and lost to current pro Brunet Zamora ( fighting out of Italy however an actual cuban living in Italy ) 9-4 Think Barry split 2 with both Ricky and Craig McEwan - but as I say my memory's not what it was - Both Kevin and Barry turned pro the same day with Barry the current Scottish Champ .Anderson selected to move up from light welter and Barry staying at the weight :thumbsup

Cheers, enjoyed reading that. What age was Barry when he turned pro then and what was his final amateur record? I know Ricky had 106 fights, Barry must have had about that or even more?

Also how did Kevin Anderson get on at the commonwealths?

    Just remembered a good one:

Naz knocked out Michael Brodie while brodie stupidly went to fix his headguard.

Barry turned pro when he was 23 he had over 100 amateur bouts although cant remember exact - think 116 and lost 22 or there abouts - at one stage he had a continual stoppage of 18 - not too bad for a young boy - Anderson went to Manchester and was involved in a very damaging bout with an African ( whos name escapes me) this bout took place in the second round and I think Kevin lost in a tight one - The African was unfit to continue in the tournament and had to withdraw due to injuries sustained :thumbsup Hope this info helps :thumbsup
