Probably because Floyd is the only other boxer out there who generates more revenue than Pacquiao. Any other boxer wouldn't say ****, they just want the big ass pay day!

Because no other fighter is scared of losing their 'O' against Pac, and no other fighter is so hell-bent on minimising risks.

I dont care what his reasons are for doing it. Can anyone honestly say that they dont want the sport of boxing to be clean?

    I thought not.

I honestly dont care if he is using this to get out of the fight with pac man, or is using it to dirty pacs name. IMO if everyone demanded it the sport would be totally clean. I know this is something that is hard to implement, especially at the lower levels of boxing, but its a point that i feel needs to be addressed.

All this has done is made people (including me) do their research. I am now more aware that it does go on in the sport, and that the current tests are not good enough to catch the cheats.

    So true.

Other boxers watch videos of their opponents and think "even if this guy is juicing, I'll beat the **** out of him anyway"

Floyd evidently watches Pac fighting and thinks "this guy is so good he can't be natural, and I can't fight him the way he is or I'll get torched"

Otherwise, he'd already have fought Pac and pocketed $60m. :deal

All I care about is a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight taking place. That's it. The manner in which Mayweather has gone about in implementing new testing procedures, has prevented this from happening. I have little regards for the wishes of a fighter who claims he wants to clean up the sport, but is only willing to apply these demands for his own fights, fights which he doesn't even have the urge to provide. If he and his uncles are that sincere about cleaning up the sport, then they would have encouraged the rest of their fighters - those that are under their promotional banner and training camps - to undergo the same tests. But the fact is, they haven't. Proving what a farce this whole 'cleaning up the sport' act is, and how infuriating it is that such bull**** excuse has prevented he fight from happening.

Because his daddy told him to. Of course it also fits into his slander campaign against Pac's legacy through the media. Floyd wll also take it as a psychological edge if he is ever cornered into taking the fight, given Manny's experience in the first Morales fight. But whatever.. Floyd comes across as a genuine and reasonable guy. I'm sure his intentions really are to clean up the sport and provide an even playing field. He has no history of playing mind games or trying to gain advantages going into a fight.

Floyd stopped taking risks after his fights with Castillo, now he only takes on fight he knows he can win. This should have become obvious when he went after Gatti. With Gatti, he got a name fighter whom he knew he could beat. At the time Floyd went to 140lbs, it was far and away the most talented division in boxing, and who did he go after? A past prime Arturo Gatti.

Floyd has sinced followed that same blue print ever sense; go after a name fighter whom he knows he can beat. Floyd's has always claimed that he can beat any fighter in the world, but if the fight doesn't make money than it doesn't make sense. That would be reasonable, except in 2003-2005 when 140lbs was insanely talented, he was taking on the Philip N'Dous, Victorian Sosas, DeMarcus Corleys, and Henry Bruseles of the world. I don't think anybody would argue Floyd could have been fighting much better competition for bigger purses. Instead he just biding his time to get an easy PPV fight with Arturo Gatti.

The drug testing is nothing more than a red-herring, a way to sabatoge a once in a generation type of fight. Against Pacquiao, Floyd had a good opportunity of beating him in the ring, however not a certain opportunity. So now he will beat Pacquiao the only way he knows he can; publically tarnishing his reputation with basesless accusations of PED. He knows he can beat Pacquiao like that because Pacquiao has something called honor.

Same could be said about pac:lol:

Pac must have watched floyd videos and said I cant beat floyd so I won't agree to his demands.

I mean if pac knew he could be floyd why not just agree.:think

Pac was ready to fight with no demands, and Floyd was the one who made demands. Obviously the demand-maker is the one who created the roadblock, and if you weren't such a blinkered blind biased ***** you would very easily understand that.

10 mil per pound, no matter whether you agree or not, is a demand
