It's worse.. Khan's camp is 8 weeks.. he is due to fly out on Feb the 8th I believe to begin. Which is little over a week. An opponent needs to have been in place effectively now, as it's not Khan that is the concern.. it's that any opponent at this level will want a minimum of 8 weeks preparation, and your going to need a week on top of that to just sort out training and the logistics... basically.. they are already into the point at which it becomes urgent, or as SKY will put it "concerning"

8pm I believe. I'm not overly fussed about it really, more interested in working out how I'm going to watch Brad/Alex.. whether to stay up.. or watch in the morning

Seems fairly clear for all to see, disappointing for everyone including Khan fans.

If McCloskey wants the fight, become Khans mandatory and get 25% with no options. end off story.

    Er, eh, emmm! Some logic!

From the guy that said McCloskey ducked Khan.

Officially the dumbest chunt on ESB - step forward Rob, the excellence award!

But see the thing is, this is a voluntary defence of Khans Krown! They wanted McCloskey to take the fight and McCloskey wanted the fight. So they are supposed to come to a mutually acceptable position. Except the Khan Krews terms are unacceptable to anyone with any intelligence.

ive already retracted that comment plastic.

they will find someone whos a similar level to McCloksey and pay him less than PM wanted. and PM didnt bring much to the table. the fight will sell out and theres other fighters that would do bigger PPV sales.

    I hope it's Peterson.

I doubt it's Katsidis, else we would have heard about it.

Yeah there are plenty out there that would bring in more PPV than McCloskey, but its just a pity they are not the guys Team Khan are talking about.

"murray a good option, other names in the mix peterson, guzman, corley, witter"

A lightweight, a blown up super featherweight, a welterweight, a washed up Corley thats lost 11 fights since 2007 and 5 of his last 6 and Peterson who wants $600,000 and wont sell tickets or PPV like McCloskey.

They got some great ideas alright, maybe you should join Team Khan! Youre dumb enough!

You're a McCloskey fan, we get it, but there's nothing in McCloskey to suggest he's the best possible opponent out there for Amir, and that Amir needs him more than anyone else. John Murray, despite him being a division below, would give Khan a tough fight as much as McCloskey would.
