Yeah, the first three minutes were closely fought and then Morris got beaten up the rest of the way. :!:

    Round 1

Dickinson comes in swinging his long arms and winds up with them folded around Davies' back. They continue to come together awkwardly without much of note landing either way. Davis starts ducking down and lunging in with body jabs. Dickinson just walks him down and wings a few body shots with Davis against the ropes. Davies is chased back to the ropes moments later after skipping out, and again hit to the body. Dickinson misses a can-opener left hook as Davis drops his guard to jettison back with a spring in his legs. Dickinson is just relentless walking Davies to the ropes and digging down to the body, ignoring the high guard of Davies and worrying not a lick about headhunting. Davies tries to trade with Dickinson while fighting his way off the ropes and is caught with a right and quickly gets back to moving. Davies is landing little pitty-pats while running in and out. Dickinson connects and Davies drops. He argues it's no KD but the count is applied. Bell to end the round.

    10-8 Dickinson

    Round 2

Dickinson brings it on, jabbing aplenty and bringing some long right hands around. Davies is getting backed up and crunched at the end of those jabs and rights with the ropes at his back. Davies tries to leap in with a reckless lead uppercut that looks good but doesn't gather any flesh. Dickinson is just looking overall stronger and better here, controlling the ring and tormenting Davies with the 1-2. Davies tries a few slick defensive moves on the outside but doesn't quite have the speed and can't figure out how to escape the long reach and workrate of Travis. Davies tries another uppercut and again it doesn't stick.

    20-17 Dickinson

    Round 3

The jab and right hand keep making life hard for Davies. Dickinson won't let up and doesn't look at all tired. Davies is using a lot of movement and nervous energy, just on defense and widely-missing counters. Davies does turn himself in and sneak in a quick lead right hand past a lone Dickinson jab but by and large is getting outpunched. Dickinson bangs the body a bit more as he hunts Davies to the perimeter once more. Back in the center of the ring Dickinson watches and lines Davies up with a few more samplings of the 1-2. Davies is in survival mode. Clinch.

    30-26 TD

Dickinson seems very robotic I think anyone with a bit of head movemant and can punch from an angle will disect him! Why the hell has he got TASTY on the Ass of his shorts??

Yeah, Jack Morris injured his hand against Slate; Dickinson (assuming he gets this nod) will face an alternate in the semi-finals.

Yeah, he gets it (but one judge somehow had a round for Davies :?)

Right, he's a bit of a pauper's Pavlik. Still...given the class of the rest of the draw besides maybe Dodson his style should get him the prize.

Crazy scoring at time No matter how you score a round there was no way you could perceive any of those rounds favouring Davis.

    Dodson vs. Banbula

    Round 1

Dodson puts his jab right out at mid-level. Banbula gets to hopping around and tries to rain down some overhand shots while zipping in from odd angles. Banbula gets his head buries in Dodson's chest and shoeshines low. He is pushed down to the mat. Banbula is cut. Fast hands from Banbula as he creeps to his left around Dodson. A nice left hook to the side/back by Dodson, almost illegal but unintentional. BIG right hand by Dodson staggers Banbula and he clinches and holds on until broken up, killing clock. Another immediate clinch. Banbula is stalling, circling and jabbing hyperactively and clinches again. Banbula's face is quite bloody.

    10-9 Dodson

    You're the best, IB.

Totally off topic but you wouldn't happen to be doing a RBR for the South African card with Joyi vs. Takayama, Baloyi, and ol' Phillip N'dou?
