Anyone here ever boxed and been KOed/ stopped??

i got suckered punch one time...all seemed like someone put out the lights....i wasnt knocked out but the feeling was weird...everything blurry...my eyesight was like seeing through a keyhole....

 

Ive been rocked pretty bad in sparring/amateurs. I'm sort of prone to body shots. I was sparring my trainers son and he hit me with a body shot while I was throwing a left hook. I couldn't breath man! I had to hold on for dear life for the rest of the round. Your legs kinda give out on you when it happens. The second time was in my fifth fight. This dude was intense. He pressured the living **** out of me. I tried to throw a straight right and missed then he countered with a uppercut. I saw stars for a second and if I wasn't on the ropes when it happened I would have got dropped possibly KO. I have never been KO/dropped but seriously hurt, hell yea.

 

I have trained in it with my wife for 7 years and I actually used it while out with some friends one night in self defense and I had the dude screaming. I try to avoid fighting but if I do get into one I am not going to box I am going to use that KM on that ass.

is that any good or is it like one of those bull**** self defense classes?

do you do live sparring?

 

In high school I use to spar with allot of fighters getting ready for the golden gloves ..I got dropped by a shot to the liver ..Felt like hell and knocked the wind out of me for 30 seconds ..

 

my lone ko loss in the amateurs was a fight where i was broken by body punching..dropped my hands and got clocked by a left hook...next thing i know im on my ass tangled in the ropes disoriented

i also had another experience where i nearly got ko'ed again i got hit on the temple and i was still conscious but my body shut down like i saw myself falling and i couldn't stop it ..the jolt of me hitting the canvas jarred the life back in me
