. Lyell has a big heart, but yeah there was nothing immpressive about Chavez performance. Cotto would punish him.

Is it a 10 rounder? Can you post the result / cards when it's over?

I would like to see Cotto take on Martisoyan or Chavez. I think he would destroy them both,

His punches looked slow and weak. What kind of crapy peds is Ariza feeding him?

Billy Lyell is pretty tough. Toughness is his only good asset.

Show some respect. He's not just a legend's son. You're actually watching the next middleweight champion of the world. Lol, at Canelo murders him comment. He's just as big a hype job as JCC Jr.

Canelo may be over hyped but he sure fights better opposition than Chavez, and proves to have some real power. Canelo would blow Chavez out of the ring regardless, that's why this fight hasn't happened.

No he doesn't. He fights name over the hill and overmatched opponents. Cotto's little brother almost had him out. I wouldn't make him a big favorite against Chavez by any means. John Duddy would beat Canelo easy.

Probably something that read, "Best if used on or before 01/01/2000."

Canelo is at 147/154 for years to come, Chavez Jr is at 160 and is gunning for a MW belt (WBC). Won't happen before long.

Also sad to say but those over the hill opponents offer more appeal than a bunch of tomato cans. Lovemore N'dou would outbox Chavez's ears off.

lol a 39 year old Lovemore N'dou, a 39 year old Baldomir, Miguel Cotto's brother all fighting above their best divisions. I'm sure Chavez would struggle with them. Their just names at this stage, which GBP are using to overhype this kid. Sure they look better than your average bum on his resume, but their level is no better. Next up Ricky Hatton's brother. Which might actually be a good fight. I don't think Canelo is at that much higher level than him for it to be the cakewalk GBP perceives it to be.
