DETROIT -- WBO king, Tim Bradley, won an anti-climactic, 10-round technical decision over WBC champ, Devon Alexander

(140 pounds) championship bout when referee Frank Garza, acting on the advice of ringside doctor, Peter Samet, stopped the fight as a result of Alexander's complaining that he could not see out of a bleeding right eye as the result of an accidental head butt. Nevada's Duane Ford 97-93, Mexico's Omar Mintun 98-93, and Ohio's Tim Miller, 96-95, all for Bradley. "The contract said that i have a rematch clause" said Alexander:............................WHO WANTS TO SEE THAT BOREFEST AGAIN!!!!!:dead

Yeah right, because he has to. He needs to save face but if he loses again . . . he's gonna be an irrelevant figure in the division.

Would HBO even want it after this one?

I'd rather watch my parents have sex than see a rematch.

Alexander has great athleticism but he just doesn't seem to have any ring smart and he does not adapt very well.

Is there a mandatory rematch clause for either fighter tomorrow?

    Dan Rafael (1:30 PM)

"No, but if HBO wants a rematch it would happen at the network's option. Both fighters have return guarantees on HBO and HBO can insist it be a rematch if it so desires"

I think Alexander wins in a rematch if one took place although i think it will not happen because the fight wasn't great.

Especially with exciting matchups involving Khan and Maidana to be made.

Let's hope he comes with a different fight plan next time. Above all, he better come to fight and expect to take some damage, not quit like he did tonight. With his skill set and size advantage, he should be the one in charge of the ring, but he just might be a mental midget. Bradley might be too physical for him too. IMO Khan might be a better match up for him.
