I had Bradley to win on points last night but he bookies won't pay out saying the fight had to go the distance. if it goes to the score cards shouldn't they pay out?
It depends how the bet was worded. Most bookies have decision and technical decision as the same bet. Going the distance is a different bet.
I would read their rules. They would not have paid out on a stoppage i am sure. There has to be a way for the punter to win their bet, ask them how that is the case. Ask them what the odds were for that etc. I have never seen an offer for a technical points win.
Ladbrokes pay out for a technical decision. Check out the boxing section on their website, decision and technical decision is the same bet.
bookmakers all have different rules, i had ward to outpoint kessler and sporting bet settled it as a tko, its bollocks but it was stated in their rules.
skybet offer that market, i backed alexander at 80/1 to win by tec dec, **** knows why i didn't back bradley at 50/1 as well, ah well
