Alexander didn't want to fight any longer, simple as that However, I think either would beat Khan over 12 rounds. If Shaw does manage to secure Mayweather next for Bradley, it's going to leave Team Khan in an awkward position considering they are taking a warm up bout against a lightweight in assumption that the bout with Bradley is certain to go ahead in July.
Khan still has options other than Bradley. He can rematch Maidana or move up. But I want to see the Bradley fight next and it looks like both Khan and Bradley want it.
Maidana will not get a rematch. Yeah both Khan and Bradley want it, but it Shaw claims he can get Mayweather next in the summer then Bradley will obviously take that over a Khan bout. My point is that if he doesn't fight Bradley, this tune up bout in April against a lightweight will have been a waste of time.
I can't see Mayweather fighting this summer. If he ever fights again it won't be until later in the year when all his legal troubles are sorted. Plus Floyd has bigger fights out there than Bradley. Whether Khan fights Bradley in July or not he needs to stay active. There isn't exactly a huge list of credible opponents willing to fight him who will be available in April.

well tell me if im wrong but didnt the ref call the cut as having been caused by a punch (it wasent i know ) . if thats the case then even if its an acidental headbutt that caused the doc to take another look (and give alexander a chance to make his first oscar nominated performance ) then it gets stopped surely its a tko anyway
