Can anyone explain to me how you can score the Slate fight to Morris?

One judge gives it 30-27 to slate which is how I scored it from ringside, and the other two give it 29-28 to Morris.

Ok I know it is only a 3 rounder but has that ever happened where one judge has given a shutout and the other two have it by 1 round the opposite way?

I thought it was a truly shocking decision after a decent performace by Slate.

 

rounds 2 and 3 weren't even close...so no, i can't explain it

Even Roger Tillerman wouldn't have dared score that one to Morris.

I have no idea how 3 judges can **** up the scoring of a 3 round contest atsch

And then to top it off Morris can't box in the semis anyway

 

Exactly after a terrible decision like that they shouldve just let slate go through i think dickinson wouldve had him but at least it wouldve been a fight that he deserved.

 

i am a very critical person regarding dodgy decisions, but i have noticed a fight can look a fair bit different from ringside than on tv, though i did think slate deserved the win from tv veiwing.:think:good

 

It was probably an example to the other fighters to make them try and finish the fight. They seemed like patsys.

 

I thought it was a clear win for Slate - couldnt believe Morris got the nod.

I'm always very careful to ask where people were sat etc to get a clear picture of what people thought, I also normally re-watch on tv when I get in.

This one is just unfathamable. Terrible, terrible decision.

Felt so bad for Slate he looked decent.
