Imaginary argument? Again - ATG - P4P or at 140lbs? P4P maybe not, but I don't see how he's outside the top ten or far off it all time at 140.

Who else unified the weight class at 140?

 

If you think Lopez is great it is not based on his opposition.....it is more based on how he dismantled all stood in front of him in his prime.

Lopez was just as technical as say JMM but he didn't need to wait to the end of his career to use those skills offensively.

But like prime JMM he didn't get a chance to fight any great comp though unlike JMM who had great comp around they just didn't want to fight him.

Kostya struggled with guys and was knocked out in his PRIME!

And please don't give me the Kostya was having mangerial problems bull****, and it affected his training.

Kostya went into the fight arrogant and didn't adapt once in the ring. After that they built his confidence up with 3 ham and egger opponents.

 

Real ATGs: Leonard, Pacquaio, Hearns, Mayweather, Whitaker, Duran, Jones Jr. etc.

If you want to clean the ATG lists of undeserving names you should start with boxers Zarate, Ricardo Lopez, Olivares, Galaxy, Jofre, Harada etc. There are a lot of boxers who don't deserve to be there.

 

I am saying he is not ATG at 140lb....I don't think we are talking about P4P. Why do I say this, because I believe there are better 140lbs champs than Kostya in the history of the division regardless of the silly belts Kostya acquired.

Because of all the silly sanctioning bodies and there often shitty titleholders winning these belts doesn't always mean that much.

You have to take it case by case. When I rate ATG's at 140lb.....I am asking who were the best Champions at the division.....period. I don't NECESSARILY care about unification because unification is not always possible.

Let's get this straight you are talking about ATGs at a certain division? Then both are ATG in their respective divisions. I though you were talking ATG period. If you think that Tszyu is not an ATG at 140 then there really isn't anything to talk about...

Requiem - I think your position would be helped if you rank say the top 10 or 20 140 lbs fighters of all time.

You said in your first post in this thread that Roger Mayweather took Tszyu to the limit - I was at that fight, Roger felt the power early and got on his bike for the rest of the fight, Tszyu won that fight 118-110 on two judges cards and 119-109 on the other - That's hardly what anyone with your level of experience would call anything but one sided!

I don't get why anyone gets so upset about ATG lists - They're subjective - There's no defined single source of truth, why care that much.

There's only facts and achievement!
