    Dirrell v Bute ain't happening.
Dirrell almost kill the 3 group stage , If there weren't so big amount of cash involved it would've gone directly to semifinals.Ken Hershman had to squeeze his brain out to come with the ideea of making Bika v Ward an outside the tournament fight , and getting a "american" LHW Glen Johnson to participate in a SMW tournament , Green wasn't a good SMW either as the Ward fight would reveal. The credibility of the tournament had been crippled to the point where he could barely step forward.
    Few things are to consider:
Showtime don't like Dirrell(the exception being that they had planed his departure- unlikely since it would jeopardize the tournament)
Showtime has a 3+ fight deal with Bute
Dirrell could be actually have some real health problems
Dirrell and his team could be so scared after the fans reaction of him "faking his way out" that they are willing to stay low / take a vacation for a longer period of time so it could look plausible.
Even if Dirrell comes back, why would he take on Bute when he run of Ward ?
It's about the same risk. If Dirrell comes back he will be brought a little slower then what the Super six had. He would take Sartison , undefeated Mendy or Allan Grenn for his fight tune up fight , and Stieglitz for a nice shining belt and the right to be called a credible World Champion. Only after that would step up again for a unification with the big guys or for a exciting and a "name" Bika, Andrade , Pavlik, Johnson.

I think Bute Dirrell would be a great fight. Better than Kessler Bute IMO. I'm not sure what Kessler has left in the tank, and that cloud would end up hanging over Bute should he beat him.

You are probably right about the direction Dirrell will take. Another black mark on his record and he could end up in the scrap heap. He is too talented IMO for that, but that's the reality in today's boxing world.

    Stieglitz refused the Kessler -fight;

"Honestly, I have other plans for Robert. That's why we ruled out a fight with Kessler," said Steinforth. "We have not conducted any discussions with Sauerland. We got an email with a proposal on the fight but a person does not negotiate in this manner."

Smart for Stieglitz is he's aiming to keep his title by taking on less risky opponents.

Dumb for Stieglitz if he (/Sauerland) thinks he's holding out because he's going to get a better payday than Kessler.

Some people thinks that the winner of Miranda-St-Juste could face Jean-Paul Mendy to have a shot at Stieglitz. Mendy has already a shot at a title (IBF) but let's hope that he prefers to take an easier path. That way, all the bull**** will be in the same association.

    Another dream.

Did not know dirrell would be a loud to fight with brain injuries especially in usa.
He can do some acting jobs though he could fight mark warlberg to get the "f**king money":p

Stieglitz v Sartison is actually a good fight, the winner may get another shot at the top 5 guys.

Stieglitz already had many shots at Bute and now Kessler. He won't fight one of them, unless his promoter feels he has no more cash to make out of him in Europe.

The WBC would strip him if he fought for another title.

steiglitz ducks everyone bute now kessler. if u ask me i think the most reasonable and obvisous matchup that should be made is kessler v dirrell its a no brainer. 2 super6 drop outs.
