This question is for all the true boxing fans. Why is it that Bob Arum, Michael Konz, and Manny Pacquiao all have different views on what they agreed upon with Floyd after Floyd beat Mosley. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CmqeBye3KhA[/ame] Manny says at 2:20 he will do it [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1NKwuyCU6N8[/ame] @ 20 secs Konc says "we pretty much agreed to everything with the drug testing, just not within 7 days Arum said that Manny agreed to 14 days. I don't care to hear about Floyd's urge or vacation I just want to know what you all think about these 3 different views on it. Who is telling the truth?
The same way Floyd and his side have conflicting views on things - Claiming no negotiations had taken place, despite GBP and HBO stating otherwise. - Claiming he’s always been ready to fight Pacquiao if he accepts his demands, despite, on many occasions, saying he has no urge to fight. - Claiming they want to clean up the sport with OSTD, despite not encouraging any other fighter under their stable (promotional and training) to follow suit. - Claiming they can and will kick Pacquiao’s ass, despite fearing for Floyd Mayweather’s life if he gets in the ring with him. And the list goes on.
The problem is that Koncz and Arum speak on pacquiao´s behalf yet dont communicate well with eachother, pacquiao is probably once again kept in the dark until someone asks him resulting in a lot of different statements.
Arums a ****ing plauge to boxing so of course hes lying Michael Konc may be telling the truth but you never know Manny....well mannys manny
1. Floyd agreed for a cutoff 14 days before the fight. 2. 14days cutoff will probably happen anyway regardless of what was agreed. If this weren't the case then something fishy happened with Floyd Mosley OSDT. 3. What Pac said is all that matters. Floyd can simply call Pac's bluff if he's really confused who to believe. But based on #1, as Floyd himself said, 'It will be a cold day in hell before that happen'
Probably koncz, I think team pac wanted 14 days eventually up to 7. Pac just doesnt want to be tested a day before the fight. I think his team handles upon that and doesnt want to completely give into floyds demands to not give him the upperhand there for looking for a compromise in the 7 days. But again, its just speculating at this point, fact is that there communication isnt good thus leading to a lot of misunderstandings.
I believe they talked to someone through Greenburg but I am just wondering how 3 people can have 3 different views on to what was agreed upon bc the only one who said they agreed to what Floyd's demand was which was OSDT with no cut offs is Manny. The people who negotiate for him never agreed to it according to their own statements and not any fan of Floyd's.
I don't think Floyd only wants the option to be tested with no cutoffs. With OSDT they can stop taking blood whenever they want as long as they don't tell the fighter. With the way the testing works they store your blood to compare to the next test anyways so that is why they can stop if they want to. Thats the reason I think they should agree to full OSDT. They will not test either guy the day of the fight.
pacquiao's gay as hell. for 40 million id give u a finger and a testicle. no joke. that chinaman must be juicing.
