How do you think they get on together. i always think Ritchie is great to listen to but was pleasently surprised by calzaghe. i think there column in Boxing News is pretty decent aswell. what do you guys think:think
yeah they done OK, Calzaghe still has that shy way about him, Woodhall much more comfortable in front of the camera. May help seeing as the two of them are good pals.
I didn't see Prizefighter and looked at the RbR expecting Joe to have a slating for being quite wooden. But he seemed to get loads of good press and people saying him and Ritchie worked and that Sky had finally delivered. Lets hope they get given another airing. Maybe Froch-Johnson?
Yeah, thought they made a good combo in the studio, am liking Skys start to the year. Got to give Bob Mee a little more air time though, hes spoken about 4 lines in the last 2 weeks, all relating to the rules. I don't know why they brought him in if thats all hes going to say.
Calzaghe was superb I thought. He came across really well. Take away the show boating which was always forced and cringy and he was a good fighter and a good guy.
so true. There trying to use him as there version of Howard Ledermen but even Ledermen gets more air time then him. They don't ask for his card or his view on fight...it's out of order tbh...it's sorta mugging the fella off.
I've enjoyed their joint column in Boxing News the last few weeks - good to see them both in the studio for Prizefighter at the weekend too. They're both on Sky Sports for 'Time of our lives' with Steve Collins - this Thursday at 11pm :good
I always enjoy what woodhall has to say, Joe came across well, would be great to see more of them both. Totally agree with other posters regarding bob mee, always enjoyed him on eurosport. Skys really uping there game lately.
