    smoked a cig before and or after a fight? ie rocky graziano, ricardo mayorga.

    Seems unlikley given that Louis refused to endorse tobaco products, untill late in life when he was prety much destitute.

    Sam Langford always had a cigar put aside for after a fight.

    Yes, Monzon was a confirmed smoker, and even commented on it once, years ago in a ring magazine article.. He said that he quit during training though, but resumed smoking in between fights.

    Mickey Walker was famous for his two pack a day habit, and devoted some ink to his cigarette indulgence in his autobiography.

    Nicotino Roacche takes the cake though. Not sure of anybody else who was known to take drags between rounds.

    Although never even a british champ or contender, 'bionic billy batten' used to read a newspaper between rounds, sitting on his stool with his legs crossed.

    (not sure if thats his correct surname spelling)
