Most boxers get paid **** all. There is only a very small minority who take in a lot. Boxers have a lot of mouths to feed, many relatively successful boxers would have had a more financially rewarding job working 9 to 5.

MMA is glorified street fighting. If I wanted to see that ****, I'd go back to drinking in biker bars. It's free to watch, and once in a while somebody shoots a mother****er!

maybebut at least give MMA, UFC in particular its due creditfights get made that the fans actually want to seeThere is no fighter bigger then the sport (ie, mayweather) holding the sport hostagefighters are kept more activeless polics involved in making the matches happendont get it twisted. Boxing can learn alot from UFC's format.

Actually i do play and do understand how hard Golf is. But that's not what this about. It's about do boxers deserve what they get paid. Emphatically yes they do. Lower level Boxers don't get paid enough!
I like the sport of golf and don't begrudge them what they get paid at all. But what i will say is when was the last time a golfer suffered a brain injury, or had to retire prematurely because of an eye injury, because of the risk of blindness?
When it comes to reality show shite, i could'nt agree more. But boxers are more deserving of big paydays than any other sportsman IMHO.

Man i'm jealous. You have to give 'The Masters' a go friend. It might change your mind, especially about the big tournaments.

The more boxers nowaday's get paid, the worst it will be for us fans. Fighters lose the hunger and will fight a lot less often. So while it benefits the fighters, it sells us fans short of frequent quality matchups.

regardless, i can honestly say its easier to master the sport of boxing provided you have the physical requirements then it is to master the sport of Golf. They get paid so much because its such an aquired skill.

Difference is, in every other single sport in the world, the best MUST play against the best. Tiger woods cant just come out and say that he doesnt have the urge to play against so and so.

Look at tennis. Rafael Nadal cant just come out and say that he isnt in the mood to face Roger Federer if both make it to the finals.

Is this a rhetorical question? I certainly hope so.
If not; no, of course they ****ing don't. Athletic competition is among the most pointless things imaginable, no matter how entertaining. That's the world we live in, the people who perform the most useful tasks in 'society' get paid a pittance.
