There are others just below my 10 choices like Ricardo Lopez,Alexis Arguello,Tommy Hearns,Chavez. But that would constitute my top 10 of the aforementioned era.

I just don't get Duran at the top of these lists. I had in my top ten, but the top fighters he fought, he lost. He was great in the 70s, and his reign there imo gets him in the top 10 as a lightweight, but if you include his fights in the early 80s before he was washed up, he came out on the wrong end on most of them. He got kod by Hearns, lost to Hagler, lost to Benitez, lost to Kirkland Laing. He did beat Sugar Ray when Sugar decided to brawl with him, but he was totally outclassed by him months later. Of course his wins over Davey Moore & Barkley were good, and that was later, which adds to his greatness, but he was losing to the elite fighters all throughout the 80s (Laing wasn't elite). I see how he was top ten, I just don't see him being at the top of the list.
