Pacquiao was a force to be reckoned with when he was fighting in asia. Pacquiao destroyed everybody and had to Move to the US for better competition. Now the greatest american boxer in this era is on vacation because of Pac. Aint that a *****? LOL
I'd be interested to see how this post becomes the point of turning this thread into Pac-Mayweather PPV comparison :-(
I know they sold a good amount of tickets, but I'd like to know what happened to all the $150 tickets they were supposed to sell. I was on the 800# and online right from the jump and it seemed like there were ZERO tickets at that price point available. I know at least 8 other people who targeted that price point and they all said it seemed like they didn't even make any of those tix available. I'm guessing they're "holding" a good number of tickets to make it seem like the event's sold out already when in fact it hasn't.
That's EXACTLY what I was thinking. There's no fking way in hell they sold out so quickly. I remember buying tix for the Clottey/Pac fight in Dallas immediately when they were available. So called "best available" upon the release...only to find tickets 10-20 rows CLOSER a week or so after the release date. atsch
That does not say much about Mosley as an opponent...being the first to stop a 40 yr old diminished fighter. If he were prime, the odds would be 9:1 in favor of Mosley.
There are plenty of fast, young, hungry fighters if Pac is looking for competition. And the "greatest american boxer [of] this era is on vacation", because, he made a **** load of cash, dominating Pac's next opponent and "biggest challenge yet", after he was unsuccessful at getting Pac in the ring.
Quit complaining. Those mutha****in' brokers could have done the same for Floyd/Mosley but they didn't. That tells you somethin.
Not at all. Pac, a smaller man, gets 9:1 odds over a 40 year old diminished fighter, in Mosley. If Shane were prime, the odds would be in favor of Mosely. Perhaps not 9:1 (I just reversed the current odds), but, clearly in Shane's favor, IMO.
that's bull****, he was the last promoter today to bring a big fight in a stadium in the US. twice for Manny, and another for Cotto
someone said When pacquiao fights - its exciting When Bradley fights - its headbutting When Floyd fights - its running time
