    i think its official

amir khan is running and ducking away from a rematch with bredis prescott

prescott is cheap - khans team like that

it makes sense to sky tv , the public would buy this and it gives khan the chance to prove that he was caught cold

my personal thought - khan is scared of prescott , there is no other reason of not to fight him

the respect khan got by beating maidana is now crumbling away piece by piece as he chases anybody except the guy that wants to fight him

Khan's just been in the ring with Maidana. Why would he be afraid of Prescott?:think

I think that even though the Prescott fight makes little boxing sense it would make good money, boxing fans are ******ed enough to buy it out of desperation and enough people disl**** Khan to hope that Prescott is just that guy who has his number and none boxing fans can be easily duped into buying this and I think this situation exists on both sides of the water.

No it's not, it's spot on.

Prescott is not Khans boogeyman, big punchers are. He's just beaten a better, more dangerous puncher at a much higher level.

I may be wrong here but it seems that Khan is getting **** for fighting the guy with the highest world ranking. Rather than 2 domestic fights that mean nothing at world level or a rematch against a guy who is basically a journeyman with a punch.People are hard to satisfy lol this was only ever a keep busy fight judge him on the 2 or 3 fights after this one.

 It's hard to disagree with you. Rob callin someone else out for a 'stupid comment', and, at a very valid and meaningful point from a well-respected poster.

    Do one Rob:D:good

Presscott cashed in his ticket for a Khan rematch when he came over here and lost to Kevin Mitchell.

    Exactly.

Nothing else needs to be said.

Most of the likely buyers of Khan's next fight will have seen that fight too. There's no selling point, it's not exactly revenge either.

Khan's already got his revenge by getting his career back on track.
