I think he deserves what he got for the Katsidis fight. That sounds about fair.

But, I'm not Asif or his dad.

Amir's opponent to be announced in the next 48 hours.

I don't know even if I should be excited.

I think it will be either Lamont Peterson or John Murray.

I have a feeling it'll be Murray or Prescott.

Murray and his Team have been awfully quiet. I think this time they are choosing to keep the public out of negotiations.

OK, R.Schaefer has confirmed that Lamont Peterson is back in the mix to face Amir Khan on April 16th. Also, the proposed date of a Khan-Bradley fight is July 30th, according to Mr Schaefer

The only way Khan will get an opponent is if GBP take charge of things.

    Its Peterson.

Khan vs Bradley will not happen.

Is that a solid source that can back this.

Theres no reason this fight should stop us from seeing the bradley fight in the future though is there.

If Dave Coldwell says "I am pretty sure its Peterson" that makes me pretty sure to.

Bradley is a free agent. Which promoter is he going to sign with? The one that can offer him the most money. That means Top Rank as they can keep it in house and put him in with Manny Pacquiao and there not going to risk him agaisnt Khan.

Later this year we will get Pacquiao vs Bradley and Khan vs Marquez.

I say it's murray. The second highest ranked lightweight(rees) recently pulled out of a rematch and vacated his british belt. I imagine the reason is because he's gonna challenge for the european. Meaning murray vacated it meaning he is getting a shot at khan.

I'd love prescot but murray will do.

Since everyone doesn't know the opponent and people are speculating on who it could be, I'll add some more fuel to the fire ;)

    Fair enough.

Didnt think his contract expired till the summer.

Even if he did sign with top rank it would be on bull**** conditions.

eg if he beats manny we have options on your next two fights but apart from that i cant see him offering timmy a contract that would see him promote his career for the next couple of years.
