I see nothing on Lyle's resume and I have been to many of his fights live to suggest he can KO Jack Dempsey and I feel Dempsey would in fact KO Lyle I was at the Garden for the Quarry fight and Lyle was dominated and when he got rocked by a Quarry flurry he held on to survive, this was Lyle in his physical prime...Quarry was past his but in his mental mature prime...Dempsey was a great fighter, Lyle was not and I think I have been pretty consistent standing by my points, even though I am very open-minded...unlike others
I think we are making different points .. we both pick Dempsey H2H as the superior fighter ... I am stating that if Dempsey fought dumb that Lyle had the power to flatten him ...
i do disagree with bummy when he says lyle couldnt hurt dempsey..i think Lyle could potentally hurt anyone..but i dont think he would..and i think dempsey puts on a clinich before knocking his ass out before the 7th...maybe earlier.
