Do you guys consider Vitali to be slick? I would consider him slick, but akward in doing so...he does some nice pull back counters and uses his legs effectively to avoid shots..its kind of hard to judge it recently because his opponents have been sitting targets (Kingpin, Sonsowoski, Briggs), but watch his fight against Arreola and you will see it.
Hell No, if he was slick, he would've had no problem, with the old shot Lewis, that shredded his face.
look past the akwardness is what i'm saying, and watch his movements...he looks like an old granpa fighting, but he counters well and uses good movement..yes, i do consider Mora to be on the slick side, but hes not that good of a fighter...
Vit is wood, not slick. But Vit has his own style and that's how he is so good. I'd bet my home on Vit by KO if he was prepared even against a PRIME Lewis. The Lewis he fought wasn't also the worst Lewis.
Good point C, he actually is slick in his own way. He rarely gets touched and uses effective head movements. Getting tagged by Lewis is no shame, Lewis is one of the greatest most diverslified offensive fighters in hwt history. I mean Whitaker was slick but Tito beat the tar out of him. Pep was slick but Saddler beat him three times. Even slick fighters get hit sometimes.
hell no,is is wide open, clumsy, wide throwing. His opponents are too fat,too short, too flat footed, too scared to really put it on him and back him up/land clean blows on him from anywhere near the inside.
very effective hes dancing in slow motion with his hands low in front of areola but yet areola cant catch him clean very awkward and very good at utilizing it, but slick? no
Hell yes. Sergio Mora is slick. Shane couldn't hit him clean. His problem is that he has no punch at all.
I would say that Vitali has a slick style. But that's not to say that against a certain opponent, IE, one that doesn't stand right in front of you, he won't necessarily look slick. He's a lot slicker than Wlad for instance.
this is my point, how is it not slickness? hes duckin and dodgin and movin and taggin, its not necessarily eye pleasing, but isnt that slickness?
