Very True...he may of kept active but that doesn't mean he can make SMW...he started to look fleshy in his final fights. I hope he just wily enough to steer clear. His blessing will be if it's a **** comp..
I see feck all chance of him winning.After four years out of the ring even he obviously going to be rusty. In a ten or tweleve round fight he would shake the cobwebs off after the early rounds, so this three round system dosent suit him now.
No one is saying he shouldn't fight. But there's **** all wrong with expressing concern for a fighters well being. Had you ever been in a ring you'd know that.
If a man wants to fight, let him fight. There's people on the streets, that people walk past and show no concern for everyday. If Robin Reid passes the medical and physical tests, to get his boxing license back...and to fight. I've got more things in the world to worry about.
robin will be fighting a warm up i think on the 12th feb in liverpool, hes 100 percent in the prizefighter and we are alos having him as a guest for my sugar ray night in april which if he wins prizefighter would be a great added bonus to the night
I saw him a couple of years ago at the Khan Barrera weigh in. He looked in great shape, but very broad around the shoulders and in general build. Not sure if he would be comfortable making super middle. Still would be great to see him back :bbb
So, why did he choose to be in SMW but not LHW? I have to think even a shot and rusty Reid would have had a very good chance against what was honestly a poor field, other than Travis "Low-Rent Pavlik" Dickinson.
