Hes still European champ!! Still young... BIG mancunian following! Bitches on here dont support there own.... Murray would destroy the welsh sheepshaggin pisscan that is Gavin Rees! That would be over by round 8

Sign with a top promoter (which Fat Mick isn't, not without a Sky deal) and fight Rees or a top European lightweight... of which there aren't any.

I'm sure he could get a big pay day if he defended against his name sake and number 2 ranked Euopean challenger Andy Murray? The fight would make a lot of money in Ireland and I bet John Murray would be confident of the stoppage? Nice pay day for a Euro defense and A Murray I'm sure would be up for it. Either that or move up and challge Gavin Rees.

I think Murray versus Kevin Mitchell would be a barnstormer in Manchester at the MEN - perhaps on the undercard of a Khan fight. Would do wonders for his exposure.

    DFTaylor your a twat.

Steve Kims twitter he said both agreed to the deal but HBO rejected Murray. As they never agreed terms with McCloskey I doubt they ran it through HBO

well according to another poster Murray and Peterson accepted terms, Witter didn't, but HBO preferred Peterson, no comment was made about HBO rejecting Murray.

Steve Kim was only retweeting what a follower tweeted him. I emailed Steve Kim today and he said that Peterson is favourite but Murray is still possible.
