Even THAT Tyson had more head movement then anything remotely Wlad has ever seen. I watched a Tyson exhibition from 05 the other day and his bob and weave was still way better than anything today's pile of **** division has.
Was going to say pretty much the same myself. Tyson peaked around 1990-92 and the fall from there was long and fast. I'm a Tyson fan and I can't stand Wlad but he beats Tyson any time from 2000 onwards (and probably before that too). In fantasy match-up prime for prime, Wlad is shitting his pants before the opening bell. . .
Tyson of 1985-2000 ferociously slaughters any version of Wlad. He doesn't need to be prime at all to shatter that jaw, he just needs to be not a shot zombie.
Exactly. There was such a drastic change in Mike post Douglas and even more of a change in him around the time of the Ruddock fights. He really wasnt the same fighter anymore. Undefeated Mike KOs Wlad in 3.
As i said before, it depends on the psychology of the two fighters. If Tyson psyches Wlad out (he still had that aura to the very last fight) then he catches Wladimir quickly. Its not a fair comparison though; prime fighter vs semi-shot.fighter.
Tyson wasn't great by this point, but he still had enough to beat WALDO 6 out of 10 I reckon. The Tyson that beat Golota would win 10 times out of 10, as would pretty much every version of Tyson before that.
